Tutor Chat AI is designed to support equitable access for students, instructors, and administrators using modern browsers, keyboard navigation, and common assistive technologies. We target WCAG 2.1 AA as our baseline accessibility standard for our web experience.

Tutor Chat AI is built for higher-education institutions. Platform status: LTI 1.3 is live for D2L/Brightspace; Canvas is in the pipeline; co-branding is available now; and Tutor Chat AI uses a secure proprietary AI model based on the Llama 3 open-source platform.

  • Screen-reader-friendly labels for critical forms and dialogs
  • Visible focus states and semantic headings on public pages
  • Responsive layouts across desktop and mobile browsers

Compatibility

  • Recent versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari
  • Common screen readers such as NVDA, VoiceOver, and JAWS
  • Browser zoom and OS-level text scaling
  • High-contrast and reduced-motion user preferences where applicable
